The DPA takes account of delays in material procurement and production, and prioritizes the relevant purchasing processes and production orders. The DPA purchasing synchronization feature processes known delays in purchasing. These delays are then checked against the production orders, and the entire collective order is adjusted according to the dates of supplies established by your purchasing department.

Any actual or anticipated delays in the production process are smoothed out by changing priorities, shifting orders around and influencing idle or turnaround times. The system dynamically adjusts your collective orders by constantly revising, prioritizing and de-prioritizing your production orders - with the overriding goal of ensuring on-time delivery.
